Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the independent developer of The Stolen Eleven Minutes (“Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the iOS game The Stolen Eleven Minutes (the “Game”). It also explains the choices and rights available to you.
1. Information We Process
| Category | Examples and source | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Local gameplay data | Story progress, unlocked chapters and evidence, puzzle state, accessibility choices, audio settings, and local gameplay events. This information is stored on your device. | Save and restore the Game, provide settings, and support offline play. |
| Device and app information | App bundle identifier, app/OS version, device model, language, approximate timestamps, diagnostics, and network metadata such as IP address. | Deliver configuration, maintain compatibility, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and secure the Game. |
| Device identifiers | IDFV is supplied to the HSSecurity component for app security. IDFA is available to advertising services only when you grant ATT permission. Depending on provider settings and applicable law, advertising partners may also process their own identifiers. | Security, fraud prevention, advertising, frequency control, attribution, and ad performance measurement. |
| Advertising activity | Ads requested, displayed, completed, dismissed, clicked, or associated technical errors. | Provide and measure advertising, limit repeated ads, detect fraud, and preload available ads. |
| Support communications | Your email address, telephone number, and information you voluntarily include when contacting us. | Respond to support, privacy, or business inquiries. |
The Game does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, precise location, health data, or payment information. There is no character voice recording and the Game does not record your voice.
2. App Tracking Transparency and Advertising
On supported versions of iOS, the Game requests permission through Apple’s ATT framework before initializing components that may make advertising or security network requests. If you allow tracking, advertising partners may access IDFA and use it for personalized advertising, frequency control, attribution, and measurement. If you decline, IDFA is not made available by the Game. You can still play the Game, although contextual or non-personalized advertising may be shown.
You may change ATT permission at any time in iOS under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Resetting or limiting device identifiers may also affect advertising profiles maintained by third parties.
3. Advertising and Security Providers
The Game contains integrations for the providers below. Advertising platforms are activated only when our remote configuration service returns the complete parameters required for that platform. A provider that is not activated does not receive an ad request from our advertising manager.
- Chartboost / LoopMe — Privacy Notice
- Yandex Ads — Privacy Policy
- Vungle / Liftoff — Privacy Policy
- InMobi — Privacy Policy
- HSSecurity — used for app integrity, abuse detection, and security using the Game’s bundle identifier and IDFV.
These providers may process device information, identifiers permitted by iOS, IP address, general network information, ad interactions, diagnostics, and fraud signals under their own privacy policies. Their processing, retention periods, international transfers, and rights procedures are governed by their respective policies.
4. How We Use Information and Legal Bases
We use information to operate and save the Game; provide advertising; protect the Game and its users; detect fraud and abuse; troubleshoot technical problems; comply with law; and answer communications. Where applicable, we rely on your consent for ATT-authorized tracking, our legitimate interests in security and contextual advertising, performance of the service you request, and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We may disclose information to the advertising and security providers described above, infrastructure providers that deliver remote configuration, professional advisers, or authorities when legally required. We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising-related disclosures may be considered “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a “sale” under certain privacy laws. You can limit cross-app tracking through ATT and may contact us to exercise applicable opt-out rights.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Local gameplay data remains on your device until you reset progress or delete the Game. Support communications are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, or comply with law. Remote configuration and security logs are retained only for operational, fraud-prevention, and legal needs. Third-party providers apply the retention periods stated in their own policies.
Deleting the Game removes its locally stored data. Because the Game has no user account, we may be unable to identify device-level advertising or security records held by third parties. Requests concerning those records can be directed to the relevant provider or sent to us for reasonable assistance.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, objection to processing, or information about disclosures. You may also have a right to opt out of targeted advertising or certain sharing. Contact us using the details below. We may request information needed to verify and process your request, and you may have the right to appeal or complain to your local data-protection authority.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Advertising providers may apply their own child-directed treatment based on region, app classification, and applicable law.
9. International Transfers
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, they and we rely on recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions, contractual protections, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including transport security, data minimization, local storage for gameplay progress, and integrity checks. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the Game, providers, law, or our practices. The “Last updated” date will identify the current version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate in-app, store-listing, or website notice when required.
